1. Summary

PDF AI lets you import documents, web pages, downloaded files, and YouTube transcripts, then ask questions, generate summaries, create flashcards, and create quizzes using AI.

In practical terms:

• Your imported files and extracted document text may be stored locally on your device so the App can reopen, search, summarize, and chat with them.
• Your document text, selected document excerpts, chat messages, web content, and generated content may be sent to our servers and AI service providers when needed to provide AI features.
• Your chat history may be stored in Firebase Firestore so it can be restored later.
• We use Firebase, RevenueCat, app-store payment systems, AI providers, support tools, and analytics/crash-reporting tools to operate the App.
• We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your document content to show third-party ads.
• We do not receive your full credit card number or payment card details from Apple, Google, or RevenueCat.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to information processed through the App, including:

• iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Android, Windows, and web versions where available;
• in-app settings, support, feedback, subscriptions, and document-processing features;
• backend services used by the App, including AI, text extraction, analytics, crash reporting, authentication, and subscription management.
